
The Ceduna Business & Tourism Association was formed to represent the interests of small business and to promote tourism within the Ceduna area.
Membership to the Association provides a voice in one of the town's largest, proactive organisations which aims to encourage and support small business and the tourism industry in our area. Membership for the 2010/11 financial year is $160, with members having access to wholesale advertising within numerous publications, this website, the Eastern Information Bay and other promotional avenues.
Membership forms for 2010/11 will be available for download shortly.
The Committee meets once a month on the third Thursday or Friday (alternate months) in the Ceduna Foreshore Hotel/Motel Boardroom or at Bill's Pizza & Pasta (for breakfast meetings). All meetings are open to the public and we encourage our members to attend.
The Association is involved in the following events/promotions:
Business of the Year Awards - each year the Association in conjunction with our proud sponsors the District Council of Ceduna run the Business of the Year Awards. These awards promote the excellent work our small businesses are achieving during the previous year. Marketing Ceduna - The Association has worked hard over the past three years to develop a new and distinctive logo for the Far West region, culminating in the development of a new brand which has been used on revamped town maps, tourism brochures and this website.
Business Directory - make sure your business does not miss out on inclusion in the 2011 Business Phone Book, available to members only. This new publication will list members details including street & postal addresses, phone, fax, email and website details. 2000 copies will be produced and distributed to residences within Ceduna, Smoky Bay, Denial Bay and Penong early in the new year.
Oysterfest Events - proud sponsors and energetic participants your Association is involved in the Oysterfest Festival Friday BBQ, Window Dressing Competition and more.
